Multilocular echinococcosis
Echinococcosis multilocularis is a disease caused by the alveolar echinococcosis (alveolar echinococcosis) of the multilocular tapeworm parasitizing the human body. It is also called alveolar echinococcosis (Ae) and multilocular hydatidosis. There are significant differences between alveolar and cystic echinococcosis in terms of biology, epidemiology, pathology and clinical manifestations.
