Urethral trauma
The male urethra is divided into anterior and posterior urethra. Anterior urethra trauma is mostly in the bulbar urethra, while posterior urethra trauma is mostly in the membranous urethra. The penile urethra is less likely to be injured because of its greater mobility. The female urethra is less likely to be injured because it is short and straight. Male urethral trauma is a common urinary system trauma.
