Minimal Change Nephropathy
Minimal change nephrosis (MCN), formerly known as lipoid nephrosis, is a group of primary glomerular diseases characterized by normal glomeruli under light microscopy, fatty degeneration of proximal tubular epithelial cells, fusion and disappearance of podocyte processes of glomerular epithelial cells under electron microscopy, and no mesangial cell proliferation, matrix widening, and immune deposition.
