Q fever pneumonia
Rickettsia burnetii is an acute infectious disease caused by Rickettsia burnetii (also known as Rickettsia burnetii or Rickettsia querceta). It was first discovered in Australia in 1935. It was named Rickettsia querceta because it was considered to be a disease of unknown cause (query means question). The main clinical manifestations are sudden fever, headache and body aches. Respiratory tract infection is the main transmission route. It is easy to cause lung lesions (Q-fever pneumonia). Generally, there is no rash during the course of the disease and the Weil-Felz reaction is negative, which is different from other rickettsial diseases.
