Glaucoma due to lens dislocation
Lens position change refers to the deviation of the lens, which is located in the posterior chamber under physiological conditions, from the central position. Clinically, it manifests as subluxation or complete dislocation of the lens, which is collectively referred to as lens dislocation. Glaucoma caused by increased intraocular pressure due to lens dislocation is called glaucoma associated with lens dislocation. Lens subluxation is due to the relaxation or rupture of part of the suspensory ligament, which causes the lens to deviate from the normal center of the visual axis, but the lens is still located in the pupil area or partially in the pupil area. Complete lens dislocation is due to the rupture of all the suspensory ligaments and is not attached to the ciliary process. The lens may be located in the posterior chamber, pupil area, or may dislocate into the anterior chamber or vitreous body, or even dislocate under the conjunctiva or outside the palpebral fissure.
