Acute Coronary Syndrome
Acute coronary syndrome (ACS) is a group of clinical syndromes caused by acute myocardial ischemia, including acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and unstable angina (UA), among which AMI is divided into ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) and non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI). Platelet activation plays an important role in the occurrence of ACS.

TICAGRELOR- ticagrelor_tablet, film coated
Indication: Ticagrelor tablets are a P2Y 12 to reduce the risk of cardiovascular (CV) death, myocardial infarction (MI), and stroke in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) or a history of MI. For at least the first 12 months following ACS, it is superior to clopidogrel. 1 to reduce the risk of a first MI or stroke in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) at high risk for such events. While use is not limited to this setting, the efficacy of Ticagrelor tablets was established in a population with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). 2 to reduce the risk of stroke in patients with acute ischemic stroke (NIH Stroke Scale score <=5) or high-risk transient ischemic attack (TIA). 3 Ticagrelor tablets are indicated to reduce the rate of cardiovascular (CV) death, myocardial infarction (MI), and stroke in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) or a history of myocardial infarction (MI). Ticagrelor tablets also reduce the rate of stent thrombosis in patients who have been stented for treatment of ACS [see Clinical Studies ( 14. 1 Ticagrelor tablets are indicated to reduce the risk of a first MI or stroke in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) at high risk for such events [see Clinical Studies ( 14. 2 Ticagrelor tablets are indicated to reduce the risk of stroke in patients with acute ischemic stroke (NIH Stroke Scale score <=5) or high-risk transient ischemic attack (TIA) [see Clinical Studies ( 14.

PRASUGREL- prasugrel_tablet, film coated
Indication: Prasugrel tablets is a P2Y 12 Patients with unstable angina or non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) ( 1. 1 Patients with ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) when managed with either primary or delayed PCI ( 1. 1 Prasugrel tablet is indicated to reduce the rate of thrombotic cardiovascular (CV) events (including stent thrombosis) in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) who are to be managed with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) as follows: Patients with unstable angina (UA) or non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI). Patients with ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) when managed with primary or delayed PCI. Prasugrel tablet has been shown to reduce the rate of a combined endpoint of cardiovascular death, nonfatal myocardial infarction (MI), or nonfatal stroke compared to clopidogrel. The difference between treatments was driven predominantly by MI, with no difference on strokes and little difference on CV death [see Clinical Studies ( 14.

CLOPIDOGREL BISULFATE- clopidogrel bisulfate_tablet, film coated
Indication: Clopidogrel is a P2Y 12 Acute coronary syndrome For patients with nonen dashST-segment elevation ACS (unstable angina [UA]/non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction [NSTEMI]), clopidogrel has been shown to reduce the rate of myocardial infarction (MI) and stroke. 1 For patients with ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), clopidogrel has been shown to reduce the rate of MI and stroke. 1 Recent MI, recent stroke, or established peripheral arterial disease. Clopidogrel has been shown to reduce the rate of MI and stroke. 2 Clopidogrel is indicated to reduce the rate of myocardial infarction (MI) and stroke in patients with nonen dashST-segment elevation ACS (unstable angina [UA]/ nonen dashST -elevation myocardial infarction [NSTEMI]), including patients who are to be managed medically and those who are to be managed with coronary revascularization. Clopidogrel should be administered in conjunction with aspirin. In patients with established peripheral arterial disease or with a history of recent myocardial infarction (MI) or recent stroke clopidogrel is indicated to reduce the rate of MI and stroke.
