Chondromyxoid fibroma
Chondromyxoid fibroma of bone is an uncommon benign tumor. It originates from the connective tissue that forms cartilage and is easily confused with chondrosarcoma or chondromyx sarcoma. Although from the perspective of tissue morphology, the tumor contains both cartilage-like tissue and cells with giant nuclei or peculiarly shaped nuclei in the mucus-like substance formed between small round cells, which resembles malignancy, the tumor develops slowly and manifests as a benign process. Clinically, the symptoms are mild, and there is generally no recurrence after complete surgery, and even less metastasis.
