Aerophagia
Aerophagia refers to the situation where an infant inhales a large amount of air while sucking milk. The swallowed air accumulates in the lower stomach, while the milk remains in the upper stomach. The air cannot escape in time and enters the small intestine and large intestine, causing paroxysmal spasms of the intestinal wall muscles, resulting in abdominal discomfort or severe abdominal pain.
