Vestibular neuritis
In 1909, Ruttin first proposed the term vestibular neuritis, also known as epidemic vertigo, epidemic neural labyrinthitis, acute labyrinthitis or vestibular paralysis. This inflammation is limited to the vestibular system, and the cochlea and central nervous system are normal. It mostly occurs in adults aged 20 to 60 years old, and there is often a history of upper respiratory tract infection before the onset of the disease. This disease can be divided into acute and chronic types.
