Acute suppurative cholangitis
Acute obstructive suppurative cholangitis (AOSC) is a severe systemic infectious disease caused by bile duct obstruction and bacterial infection, increased intraductal pressure, damaged liver-bile-blood barrier, and the entry of a large number of bacteria and toxins into the blood circulation, resulting in hepatobiliary system lesions as the main lesion and multiple organ damage. It is a severe form of acute cholangitis.
