This product is a chemical synthesis of isoniazid (INH) and para-aminosalicylic acid (PAS). INH is mainly effective against mycobacteria in the growth and reproduction period, and may inhibit the synthesis of mycolic acid (myolic acid) of sensitive bacteria and cause cell wall rupture. PAS effectively delays and blocks the acetylation process of INH in the body, can maintain a higher and longer INH concentration in the blood, and reduces toxicity to the liver. It enhances the bactericidal effect of drugs and delays the development of bacterial resistance. In combined treatment with other anti-tuberculosis drugs, the anti-tuberculosis efficacy of this product is significantly better than that of INH and the incidence of adverse reactions is lower. Animal experiments have shown that for artificially infected mice, the anti-tuberculosis efficacy of this product is about 5 times that of INH.
