Nevirapine Tablets
The main ingredient of this product is nevirapine, whose chemical name is 11-cyclopropyl-5,11-dihydro-4-methyl-6H-dipyrido[3,2-b:2#39;,3#39;-e][1,4]diazepine-6-one
Name Description Content CAS NO. Registered Holders
Nevirapine

Nevirapine is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI) of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1). Nevirapine directly binds to the reverse transcriptase (RT) of HIV-1 and blocks both RNA-dependent and DNA-dependent DNA polymerase activity by cleaving the catalytic end of the enzyme. Nevirapine does not compete with substrates or nucleoside triphosphates.

Zidovudine

This product is an antiviral drug with high activity against retroviruses including human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in vitro. It is phosphorylated by thymidine kinase in virus-infected cells to zidovudine triphosphate, which can selectively inhibit HIV reverse transcriptase, leading to termination of HIV chain synthesis and thus preventing HIV replication.

Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate

This product is a nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor that inhibits reverse transcriptase in a similar way to nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors, thus having potential anti-HIV-1 activity. The active ingredient of this product, tenofovir bisphosphonate, can inhibit viral polymerase by directly competing with natural deoxyribose substrates and terminate the DNA chain by inserting into DNA. In vitro, this product can effectively fight against a variety of viruses, including those strains that are resistant to nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors.
