It works by inhibiting DNA gyrase and DNA replication in bacterial prokaryotes. It is effective against infections caused by Staphylococcus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus pyogenes, Enterococcus, Pneumococcus, Escherichia coli, Citrobacter, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterobacter, Serratia, Proteus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Haemophilus influenzae, Acinetobacter, Campylobacter, Peptostreptococcus, and Chlamydia. There is no cross-resistance between this product and other antibacterial drugs.
