This product has strong antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria such as Streptococcus (except faecal Streptococcus) and Streptococcus pneumoniae; Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Haemophilus influenzae, Klebsiella, Salmonella, Shigella, and Neisseria gonorrhoeae, especially against Serratia, indole-positive Proteus, Enterobacter, and Citrobacter, which are less sensitive to cephalosporins.
