Sodium Potassium Magnesium Calcium Glucose Injection

Function and Efficacy

1. Effect on maintaining blood circulation homeostasis Rabbits with acute blood loss of about 30% were given a rapid infusion of 60ml/kg of fluid about 3 times the amount of blood loss along the ear vein within 1 hour, with Ringer's solution and 5% glucose-lactic Ringer's solution as controls. The results showed that soon after the bleeding stopped, blood pressure, heart rate and blood flow all decreased, but after the administration of this product, blood pressure, heart rate and blood flow returned to normal, and blood pressure and heart rate could be well maintained. 2. Effect on maintaining serum magnesium homeostasis For rabbits undergoing surgery, the effect of this product on serum magnesium homeostasis was observed with magnesium-free acetate Ringer's solution and 5% glucose-lactic Ringer's solution as controls. The results showed that serum magnesium in the control group decreased, while serum magnesium in the drug-administered group maintained the preoperative level. 3. Effect of maintaining blood sugar and inhibiting the decrease of liver glycogen (used in combination with 1% glucose) (1). Rabbits undergoing surgery were given this product, Ringer's acetate solution and 5% glucose Ringer's acetate solution after surgery. The results showed that blood sugar increased significantly after administration of 5% glucose Ringer's acetate solution, and 30% of the glucose input was excreted in the urine, while no similar excretion was observed in the urine after administration of this product and Ringer's acetate solution. (2). Rats undergoing surgery were given this product and sugar-free Ringer's acetate solution after surgery. The results showed that this product could increase blood sugar that was reduced due to preoperative fasting, correct hypoglycemia, and inhibit the decrease of liver glycogen. Although plasma free fatty acids and total ketone bodies increased due to preoperative fasting, the amount of plasma free fatty acids and total ketone bodies after administration of this product was significantly reduced compared with the control group. (3) Rabbits with acute blood loss of about 30% were given a rapid infusion of 60ml/kg of fluid about 3 times the amount of blood loss over 1 hour along the marginal vein of the ear, with 5% glucose-lactated Ringer's solution as the control. The results showed that blood sugar levels in both groups of animals increased, but the excretion of glucose in the urine of the control group increased, while no glucose excretion was observed in the group given this product.

Special Population Medication

Precautions for children: The safety of low birth weight infants, newborns, infants, toddlers or children has not been established (no experience). Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Not yet clear. Precautions for the elderly: Elderly patients have reduced physiological functions such as heart and kidney function and sugar metabolism, so pay attention to slowing down the infusion speed or reducing the amount of infusion, etc.

Drug Interactions

1. This product contains calcium ions, which can cause coagulation when mixed with citric acid and blood. 2. This product will form precipitation when it meets phosphate ions and carbonate ions, and should not be used in combination with preparations containing phosphate ions or carbonate ions. 3. When this product is used in combination with cefpirin sodium salt, arbekacin sulfate and ceftazidime, the potency of these antibiotics will be reduced, so it should be used up within 3 hours after preparation. 4. When this product is mixed with thiopental sodium and canrenoate potassium, precipitation will be generated and crystals will precipitate.
