Alanyl-glutamine injection

This product is a component of parenteral nutrition. N (2) -L-alanyl-L-glutamine can be decomposed into glutamine and alanine in the body. Its characteristics can be used to supplement glutamine through parenteral nutrition infusion. The amino acids released by the decomposition of this dipeptide are stored in the corresponding parts of the body as nutrients and metabolized according to the needs of the body. This product can be used for parenteral nutrition support for diseases that may cause glutamine depletion in the body.

The main ingredient of this product is alanyl glutamine, its chemical name is N(2)-L-alanyl-L-glutamine. Molecular formula: C8H15N3O4 Molecular weight: 217.23

This product is a colorless clear liquid.

Indicated for parenteral nutrition in patients requiring glutamine supplementation, including those in catabolic and hypermetabolic conditions.

This product is a high concentration solution and cannot be directly infused. Before infusion, it must be mixed with a compatible amino acid solution or an infusion containing amino acids, and then infused with a carrier solution. 1 volume of this product should be mixed with at least 5 volumes of carrier solution (for example: 100ml of this product should be added to at least 500ml of carrier solution), and the maximum concentration of this product in the mixed liquid should not exceed 3.5%. The dosage depends on the degree of catabolism and the amount of amino acids required. The maximum daily dose of amino acids supplied by parenteral nutrition is 2 grams/Kg body weight. The amount of amino acids and glutamine supplied by this product should be included. The amount of amino acids supplied by this product should not exceed 20% of the total amino acid supply. Daily dose: 1.5-2.0ml/kg body weight, equivalent to 0.3-0.4gN (2)-L-alanyl-L-glutamine/kg body weight (for example: a patient weighing 70kg needs 100-140ml of this product per day). Maximum daily dose: 2.0ml/kg body weight. When adding carrier solution, the dosage adjustment is: when the amino acid requirement is 1.5g/kg body weight/day: 1.2g of amino acids are provided by the carrier solution, and 0.3g of amino acids are provided by this product. When the amino acid requirement is 2g/kg body weight/day: 1.6g of amino acids are provided by the carrier solution, and 0.4g of amino acids are provided by this product. The infusion rate depends on the carrier solution, but should not exceed 0.1g amino acids/kg body weight/hour. The continuous use time of this product should not exceed three weeks.

When used correctly, no adverse reactions have been found. When the infusion rate of this product is too fast, chills, nausea, and vomiting will occur. In this case, the drug should be discontinued immediately.

It is contraindicated in patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance <25 ml/min) or severe hepatic impairment.

Precautions for children: Due to insufficient clinical data on the use of this product in children, it is not recommended. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Due to insufficient clinical data on the use of this product in pregnant and lactating women, it is not recommended. Precautions for the elderly: Elderly patients can use this product except those with severe renal insufficiency.

This product can only be added to a compatible carrier solution and then infused together. No interaction between this product and other drugs has been found.
