In addition, this product also has the effects of enhancing body immunity, anti-tuberculosis, vasodilation, anti-myocardial hypoxia, ischemia, and anti-arrhythmia. 2. Toxicology: The LD50 of oral administration of berbamine hydrochloride tablets in mice is 1500MG/KG. In the subacute toxicity experiment of dogs, berbamine hydrochloride was taken orally at 30-120MG/KG/day for a total of 30 days. At the beginning, it was taken orally at 30mg/Kg/day, and then changed to 120mg/Kg/day after 15 days. Anorexia only occurred at a large dose (60mg/Kg/day), but it did not affect the continued administration, and it could be restored after stopping the drug. There were no abnormalities in blood routine, BSP excretion and serum urea nitrogen. In the experiment on rats, the drug was administered 3 times a week, 250 mg/Kg each time, for 5 consecutive months. The weight of the animals was the same as that of the control group, and no abnormal changes were found in the liver, kidneys, spleen, etc. during pathological examination, proving that the long-term toxicity of Berberis hydrochloride is very low.
