Function and Efficacy
The main ingredient of this product, antipyrine, has antipyretic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic effects. The analgesic effect is mainly achieved by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins and other pain-sensitive substances; the antipyretic effect is achieved by strengthening the heat dissipation process (peripheral vasodilation, increased blood flow and sweating) through the hypothalamus temperature regulation center, rather than inhibiting the heat production process. Caffeine, another main ingredient in the formula of this product, acts on the high-level center of the cerebral cortex to promote mental excitement.
