Polygeline injection

This product is a gelatin polypeptide solution with an average molecular weight (Mw) of 27500-39500. Its osmotic pressure is equal to that of plasma, which can maintain the balance between intravascular fluid and interstitial fluid, does not cause tissue dehydration and pulmonary edema, and has the effect of maintaining blood volume and raising blood pressure. Infusion of this product can lead to blood dilution, reduce blood viscosity, and thus improve microcirculation. This product has no significant effect on blood clotting time and platelet function, and only has a blood dilution effect.

Gelatin polypeptide

This product is a light yellow, clear liquid, slightly viscous, sometimes with a slight opalescence.

It is used for patients with hemorrhagic shock caused by trauma; patients with fluid loss shock caused by severe burns, sepsis, pancreatitis, etc. This product can also be used to prevent hypotension that may occur before major surgery and to supplement volume during extracorporeal circulation and hemodialysis.

Intravenous drip. 500-1000ml at a time, drip rate is 500ml/60 minutes. The dosage and infusion rate are determined according to the condition, and the maximum daily amount can reach 2500ml. The dosage for children is based on body weight, 10-20ml/kg.

During or after infusion, transient skin reactions (urticaria), nausea and vomiting, hypotension, tachycardia, bradycardia, dyspnea, fever or chills, shock and other serious reactions may occur occasionally, but they are extremely rare. If the above situations occur, the infusion should be stopped immediately and symptomatic treatment should be given.

1. Severe liver and kidney damage, renal or post-renal anuria. 2. Contraindicated in patients with congestive heart failure, pulmonary edema, cardiogenic shock. 3. Contraindicated in patients with hypertension, esophageal varices, and bleeding diseases. 4. Contraindicated in patients with known allergies to this preparation or high risk factors for histamine release.

1. Patients who use cardiac glycosides should consider the synergistic effect of calcium with them. 2. Incompatible drugs: ampicillin, bacillus, methylprednisolone, imipramine, acyclovir. 3. This product cannot be mixed with blood containing citrate, but blood containing citrate can be infused before or after this product, or infused simultaneously through different channels.
