Dry gelatin is stable in air. Aqueous gelatin solutions are also stable for long periods if stored under cool conditions but they are subject to bacterial degradation. At temperatures above about 50°C, aqueous gelatin solutions may undergo slow depolymerization and a reduction in gel strength may occur on resetting. Depolymerization becomes more rapid at temperatures above 65°C, and gel strength may be reduced by half when a solution is heated at 80°C for 1 hour. The rate and extent of depolyme

Drug Function and Efficacy

The average molecular weight is 27500-39500, and the osmotic pressure is equal to that of plasma. It can maintain the balance between intravascular fluid and interstitial fluid, does not cause tissue dehydration and pulmonary edema, and has the function of maintaining blood volume and raising blood pressure. After infusion, it can lead to blood dilution, reduce blood viscosity, and improve microcirculation. It has no obvious effect on blood clotting time and platelet function, and only has a blood dilution effect.

This ingredient has been used in drugs with the following functions (note: it does not mean that the ingredient itself has the following health functions)
