Function and Efficacy
This product has analgesic, sedative, hypnotic and tranquilizing effects. Its analgesic effect is weaker than pethidine, but stronger than general antipyretic analgesics. It has no respiratory depressant effect at therapeutic doses and does not cause gastrointestinal smooth muscle spasm. It has better effects on chronic persistent pain and dull visceral pain, but poorer effects on acute sharp pain (such as postoperative pain, traumatic pain, etc.) and advanced cancer pain. While producing analgesic effects, it can cause sedation and hypnosis. The mechanism of action of this product has yet to be elucidated, and it may be related to inhibiting the ascending activation system of the brainstem reticular formation and blocking the function of dopamine receptors in the brain. The therapeutic dose is non-addictive.

Indication
Analgesia: Suitable for visceral pain caused by digestive system diseases (such as pain from gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer), general headache, menstrual pain, and postpartum uterine contraction pain. Sedation and hypnosis: Suitable for patients with tension pain or insomnia caused by pain.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration: For analgesia, adults take 60 to 120 mg at a time; for sleep aid, adults take 30 to 90 mg at a time; 3 times a day.
Adverse Reactions
Adverse reactions are mild at commonly used doses, and long-term use does not cause addiction. Occasionally, there are reactions such as dizziness, fatigue, and nausea. When used for analgesia, some patients experience drowsiness.
