This product is a brain metabolism improving drug, which is a cyclic derivative of r-aminobutyric acid. It has the effect of resisting brain function damage caused by physical and chemical factors. It can promote ATP in the brain, promote the synthesis of acetylcholine and positively enhance the conduction of nerve excitation, and has the effect of promoting brain metabolism. It can resist brain function damage caused by physical and chemical factors. It has an improving effect on retrograde hyperactivity caused by hypoxia. It can enhance memory and improve learning ability. The acute toxicology test of animal experiments showed that the oral gavage dose of mice was greater than 10g/kg, and no death was found. The median lethal dose LD50 of intravenous administration is 9.2g/kg. Subacute and chronic toxicology experiments did not find any adverse effects on the growth and development of rats and dogs. It has no effect on important internal organs and functions such as blood, heart, liver, kidney, and brain.

Intravenous administration: 8g per day for adults, added to glucose solution and dripped. The dosage for children is reduced accordingly.

Common adverse reactions to the digestive tract include nausea, abdominal discomfort, poor appetite, abdominal distension, abdominal pain, etc. The severity of the symptoms is directly related to the dosage. Adverse reactions to the central nervous system include excitement, irritability, dizziness, headache and insomnia, but the symptoms are mild and have nothing to do with the dosage. The above symptoms disappear after stopping the drug. Mild liver damage is occasionally seen, manifested as mild elevation of transaminase, but it is not related to the drug dosage.

When this product is used in combination with warfarin, it can prolong the prothrombin time and induce the inhibition of platelet aggregation.
