Diethylstilbestrol Tablets

This product is a synthetic non-steroidal estrogen. Its main effects are: ① Promote the normal development of female organs and secondary sexual characteristics. ② Promote endometrial hyperplasia and vaginal epithelial keratinization. ③ Enhance uterine contraction and increase the sensitivity of the uterus to oxytocin. ④ Small doses stimulate and large doses inhibit the secretion of anterior pituitary gonadotropin and prolactin. ⑤ Anti-androgenic effect.

The main component of this product is diethylstilbestrol, and its chemical name is: (E)-4,4-(1,2-diethyl-1,2-vinylidene)bisphenol. Molecular formula: C18H20O2 Molecular weight: 268.36

This product is white tablets.

1. To supplement the lack of estrogen in the body, such as atrophic vaginitis, female gonadal dysgenesis, menopausal syndrome, senile vulvar dryness and vaginitis, after oophorectomy, and primary ovarian absence.

Oral administration: ① To supplement the deficiency in the body, 0.25~0.5mg (1/4-1/2 tablet) a day, stop taking the medicine for one week after 21 days, take it cyclically, generally 3 cycles can be used (start taking the medicine from the 5th day of menstruation); ② For breast cancer, 15mg (15 tablets) a day, stop taking the medicine if there is no improvement within 6 weeks; ③ For prostate cancer, start with 1~3mg (1-3 tablets) a day, increase and then decrease according to the condition; maintenance dose is 1mg (1 tablet) a day, for 2-3 months; ④ To prevent postpartum lactation and milk withdrawal, 5mg (5 tablets) at a time, 3 times a day, for 3 consecutive days.

1. Irregular vaginal bleeding, uterine hypertrophy, frequent urination or painful urination. 2. Thrombosis and abnormal heart function may occur sometimes. 3. Abnormal liver function, hyperlipidemia and sodium retention may occur sometimes. 4. Nausea, vomiting and anorexia may occur in the digestive tract, as well as mental symptoms such as headache and dizziness.

1 Pregnant women are prohibited from using this product (it may increase the incidence of vaginal adenosis and adenocarcinoma in the second generation of women, and increase the incidence of male reproductive tract abnormalities and sperm abnormalities). 2 Patients with a history of thrombophlebitis and pulmonary embolism are prohibited from using this product. 3 Patients with estrogen-related tumors, unconfirmed irregular vaginal bleeding, and hypertension are prohibited from using this product.

Precautions for children: Not clear. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Contraindicated for pregnant women (may increase the incidence of second-generation female vaginal adenosis and adenocarcinoma, and increase the incidence of male reproductive tract abnormalities and sperm abnormalities).
