Function and Efficacy
This product is a tricyclic antidepressant. Its function is to inhibit the reuptake of 5-hydroxytryptamine and norepinephrine by the central nervous system, thereby increasing the concentration of these two neurotransmitters in the synaptic cleft and exerting an antidepressant effect. It also has antianxiety and sedative effects.

Appearance
This product is a coated tablet, which appears white after removing the coating.
Indication
Used to treat depression and anxiety neurosis.
Usage and Dosage
Oral, usual dosage: start with 25 mg (1 tablet) 2-3 times a day, then gradually increase to 100-250 mg (4-10 tablets) per day. High dosage: no more than 300 mg (12 tablets) per day.
Adverse Reactions
In the early stage of treatment, drowsiness and anticholinergic reactions may occur, such as sweating, dry mouth, tremor, dizziness, blurred vision, dysuria, constipation, etc. Other symptoms include rash, postural hypotension, occasional epileptic seizures, bone marrow suppression or toxic liver damage.
Precautions
Patients with severe heart disease, recent history of myocardial infarction, epilepsy, glaucoma, urinary retention, hyperthyroidism, liver damage, delirium, granulocytopenia, and allergy to tricyclic drugs.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Use with caution. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Use with caution. Precautions for the elderly: Start with a small dose and reduce the dose according to the condition.
Drug Interactions
1. When this product is used in combination with sultopride, the risk of ventricular arrhythmias is increased, and in severe cases, torsade de pointes arrhythmia may occur. 2. When this product is used in combination with ethanol or other central nervous system depressants, the central nervous system depressant effect is enhanced. 3. When this product is used in combination with adrenaline and norepinephrine, it is easy to cause hypertension and arrhythmias. 4. When this product is used in combination with clonidine, the latter's antihypertensive effect is weakened. 5. When this product is used in combination with anticonvulsants, the effect of anticonvulsants may be reduced. 6. When this product is used in combination with fluoxetine or fluvoxamine, the plasma concentrations of both may be increased, convulsions may occur, and adverse reactions may increase. 7. When this product is used in combination with atropines, adverse reactions may increase. 8. When used in combination with monoamine oxidase, hypertension may occur.
