Isosorbide dinitrate and glucose injection

The main pharmacological effect of isosorbide dinitrate is to relax vascular smooth muscle, which in turn causes dilation of peripheral arteries and veins, with a stronger dilation effect on venous vessels. Venous dilation can promote peripheral blood aggregation and reduce venous return, thereby reducing ventricular end-diastolic pressure and pulmonary capillary wedge pressure (preload). Relaxation of arteriolar smooth muscle can reduce systemic vascular resistance, arterial systolic pressure and mean arterial pressure (afterload). Isosorbide dinitrate can also dilate coronary arteries.

1,4:3,6-dianhydro-D-sorbitol dinitrate

This product is a colorless or almost colorless clear liquid.

It is suitable for left ventricular failure secondary to acute myocardial infarction, left ventricular failure caused by various causes, and severe or unstable angina pectoris.

The dosage needs to be adjusted according to the patient's response. The normal dosage is 2-7 mg of isosorbide dinitrate per hour, but it can be increased to 10 mg per hour if necessary.

1 Like other nitrate drugs, headache, nausea and tachycardia may occur during the use of this product. 2 Due to the significant decrease in systemic arterial pressure, it may cause cerebral insufficiency and reduced coronary perfusion, but clinical experience shows that the above situation is not common, which is consistent with the fact that the vasodilator effect of this product on the venous system is stronger than that on the arterial system.

1. Patients with known allergy to nitrates. 2. Cardiogenic shock (unless appropriate diastolic blood pressure can be maintained, such as by combining drugs that enhance myocardial contractility). 3. Patients with circulatory failure and severe hypotension. 4. Patients with significant anemia, head trauma, cerebral hemorrhage, severe hypotension or hypovolemia. 5. Combined use of sildenafil (VIAGRA). Sildenafil can significantly enhance the hypotensive effect of isosorbide mononitrate. 6. Patients with glaucoma.

This product may enhance the antihypertensive effect of other antihypertensive drugs. This product may enhance certain effects of alcohol. Taking nitrous oxide donors at the same time, such as the active ingredient in this product and sildenafil (VIAGRA), can significantly enhance the antihypertensive effect of this product.

Keep in a light-proof, airtight, cool place. The validity period is tentatively set at one and a half years.
