Fructose injection is an energy and fluid supplement. Fructose is easier to form glycogen than glucose, and is mainly metabolized in the liver through fructokinase. It is easily metabolized into lactic acid and quickly converted into energy.
Ingredients
The main ingredient of this product is fructose. The auxiliary material is water for injection. Use an appropriate amount of hydrochloric acid solution to adjust the pH value.

Appearance
This product is a colorless or almost colorless clear liquid with a sweet taste.
Indication
1. Diluent for injection. 2. Used for fluid replacement therapy for patients who need to replenish water or energy in insulin-resistant conditions such as burns, trauma, surgery, and infection, or when glucose is not suitable.
Usage and Dosage
Slow intravenous drip, generally 500~1000ml (2-4 bottles) of 5% fructose injection per day. The dosage is adjusted according to the patient's age, weight and clinical symptoms.
Adverse Reactions
1 Circulatory and respiratory system: Excessive infusion may cause edema, including peripheral edema and pulmonary edema. 2 Endocrine and metabolism: Too fast a drip rate (≥1g/kg/hr) may cause lactic acidosis, hyperuricemia, and abnormal lipid metabolism. 3 Electrolyte disorders: dilutional hypokalemia. 4 Gastrointestinal reactions: Occasionally, there may be upper abdominal discomfort, pain, or cramping pain. 5 Occasionally, there may be fever and urticaria. 6 Local adverse reactions include infection at the injection site, thrombophlebitis, etc.
Precautions
Patients with hereditary fructose intolerance, gout and hyperuricemia are prohibited from using this product. Warning: When using this product, be aware that excessive use of this product may cause life-threatening lactic acidosis. Patients with undiagnosed hereditary fructose intolerance may be at risk of death when using this product.
Drug Interactions
This product should not be used in combination with the following drugs: aminocaproic acid, ampicillin, furosemide, hydralazine sulfate, thiopental, warfarin, etc.
Storage
Keep in a light-proof and airtight container. The validity period is tentatively 24 months.
