Appearance
This product is a light yellow or light yellow-green liquid with a sweet and slightly astringent taste.
Indication
It is used for loss of appetite, pica, anemia, and growth retardation caused by zinc deficiency; it can also be used for acne, conjunctivitis, and mouth ulcers.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration: 30 ml per day for children over 10 years old and adults, 20 ml per day for children aged 1 to 10 years old, 40 ml per day for pregnant women, and 50 ml per day for lactating women. Can be taken in divided doses.
Adverse Reactions
This product is irritating to the gastrointestinal tract. Oral administration may cause mild nausea, vomiting, constipation, and 0.2-2g may induce vomiting. Overdose may cause poisoning reactions such as acute gastroenteritis, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Occasionally, skin rashes, gastrointestinal bleeding, and intestinal perforation are rare.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for patients with peptic ulcer.
Drug Interactions
1. Do not take this product with milk. 2. Do not take this product with aluminum salts, calcium salts, carbonates, tannic acid, etc. 3. This product can reduce the effects of penicillamine and tetracycline drugs. 4. If used with other drugs at the same time, drug interactions may occur.
