Function and Efficacy

This product contains acetaminophen which can inhibit the formation of prostaglandins and produce antipyretic and analgesic effects: Caffeine is a central nervous system stimulant. Since it can constrict cerebral blood vessels and reduce the amplitude of their pulsation, it can enhance the analgesic effect when combined with antipyretic and analgesic drugs.

Ingredients

This product is a compound preparation. Each tablet contains 500 mg of acetaminophen and 65 mg of caffeine. Excipients are: corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, Opadry, cross-linked polyvinyl pyrrolidone, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, magnesium stearate, methylparaben, propylparaben, isoascorbic acid, and carnauba wax.

Appearance

This product is a film-coated tablet.

Indication

It is used for fever caused by the common cold or influenza. It is also used to relieve mild to moderate pain, such as headache, migraine, toothache, neuralgia, muscle pain, dysmenorrhea and joint pain.

Usage and Dosage

Oral administration. Adults take 1 tablet at a time. If symptoms are not relieved, the medication can be repeated every 4-6 hours, but not more than 4 times within 24 hours.

Adverse Reactions

There are fewer adverse reactions, it is non-irritating to the stomach and does not cause gastric bleeding. Occasionally, adverse reactions such as rash, urticaria, drug fever and leukopenia may occur. Long-term and large-scale use of the drug may lead to abnormal liver and kidney function.

Precautions

It is contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic and renal impairment.

Drug Interactions

1. Long-term use of this product may cause liver damage in patients who use barbiturates (such as phenobarbital) or antispasmodics (such as belladonna). 2. Taking this product together with chloramphenicol may enhance the toxicity of the latter. 3. When used in combination with aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for a long time, there is a significant risk of increased nephrotoxicity. 4. When this product is used in combination with the antiviral drug zidovudine, its toxicity may be increased and simultaneous use should be avoided. 5.
