Function and Efficacy
Tetracycline has a broad spectrum of anti-pathogenic microorganisms and is an antibacterial agent. It has a bactericidal effect at high concentrations. Its mechanism of action is that the drug can specifically bind to the A position of the bacterial ribosome 30S subunit, preventing the connection of aminoacyl-tRNA at this position, thereby inhibiting the growth of peptide chains and affecting the protein synthesis of bacteria or other pathogenic microorganisms. Cortisone acetate is an adrenal cortex hormone drug with anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects. It can inhibit the proliferation of connective tissue, reduce the permeability of capillary walls and cell membranes, reduce inflammatory exudation, and inhibit the formation and release of histamine and other toxic substances. The combination of the above two drugs can enhance the antibacterial activity, reduce inflammatory exudation, and further achieve the purpose of treatment.
