Dextromethorphan hydrobromide is a centrally acting antitussive that can inhibit the cough center in the medulla oblongata to produce an antitussive effect. Its antitussive effect is equal to or slightly stronger than that of codeine, and there is no dependence or tolerance when taken for a long time. Guaifenesin is an expectorant that can increase the secretion of respiratory glands, dilute sputum, and make it easier to cough up.

This product is a compound preparation, each 10 ml contains 30 mg of dextromethorphan hydrobromide and 200 mg of guaifenesin.

Used for cough and sputum caused by upper respiratory tract infections (such as common cold and influenza), bronchitis, etc.

Oral administration: Adults: 10 ml at a time, 3 times a day, no more than 4 times in 24 hours.

Symptoms may include dizziness, headache, drowsiness, irritability, belching, lack of appetite, constipation, nausea, skin allergies, etc. These reactions will disappear on their own after stopping the medication.
