Compound Ibuprofen Tablets

This product is a compound preparation composed of ibuprofen and acetaminophen, among which ibuprofen is an aromatic propionic acid non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, which may produce analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects mainly by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins; acetaminophen is an oral acetanilide antipyretic analgesic, which may produce antipyretic and analgesic effects mainly by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins. Its analgesic effect is weak, it has no obvious anti-inflammatory effect, and has no obvious effect on platelet function.

This product is an orange film-coated tablet, which appears off-white after removing the coating.

1. Pain caused by soft tissue injury, such as sprains and strains. 2. Pain caused by non-articular rheumatism, such as bursitis, frozen shoulder, tendinitis, etc. 3. Pain caused by rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, etc. 4. Mild to moderate pain, such as headache, toothache, dysmenorrhea, and pain after dentistry, obstetrics, orthopedics, etc. 5. Pain caused by inflammation of the otolaryngology. 6. Treatment of fever symptoms caused by upper respiratory tract infection.

Oral administration. Adults: one tablet at a time, every 4 to 6 hours, the maximum daily dose should not exceed 8 tablets. Children: This drug must be taken after meals, children over 30 kg should take half a tablet every 8 hours.

1. Gastrointestinal symptoms include indigestion, stomach burning, stomach pain, nausea, and vomiting, which occur in 16% of long-term users. The above symptoms disappear when the drug is discontinued, and most of the users who do not stop the drug can tolerate it. A few (<1%) develop gastric ulcers and gastrointestinal bleeding, and some suffer from ulcer perforation. 2. Neurological symptoms such as headache, drowsiness, dizziness, and tinnitus are rare, occurring in 1% to 3% of patients. 3. Renal insufficiency is rare and mostly occurs in patients with potential renal disease; but a small number of users may experience lower limb edema. 4. Other rare symptoms include rash, bronchial asthma attacks, elevated liver enzymes, leukopenia, anemia, thrombocytopenia, etc.

This product is contraindicated for patients with any of the following symptoms: 1. Those who are allergic to ibuprofen or acetaminophen; 2. Those with active gastrointestinal ulcers; 3. Those with asthma, rhinitis or urticaria induced by taking aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs; 4. Those with nasal polyposis syndrome and angioedema.

Precautions for children: Children under three years old should use with caution. The dosage should be adjusted according to the doctor's advice. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Pregnant and lactating women are prohibited. Precautions for the elderly: Ibuprofen and acetaminophen are metabolized in the liver and mainly excreted by the kidneys. For some elderly patients with liver and kidney dysfunction, their elimination half-life will be prolonged. Therefore, elderly patients with liver and kidney dysfunction should use with caution and adjust the dosage according to the doctor's advice.

1. Anticoagulants: This product can enhance the effect of anticoagulants. Therefore, when using anticoagulants in combination, the prothrombin time should be monitored in the first few days of taking it. 2. Alcohol, barbiturates or other antispasmodics: If you drink a lot of alcohol or use barbiturates or other antispasmodics in combination with this product, the risk of liver toxicity will increase. Therefore, when using this product, you should avoid drinking a lot of alcohol or using barbiturates or other antispasmodics in combination. 3. Furosemide, antihypertensive drugs: When this product is used in combination with furosemide and antihypertensive drugs, it can affect the antihypertensive effect of the latter, so it should be avoided to use them at the same time. 4. Verapamil, nifedipine: When this product is used in combination with verapamil and nifedipine, the blood concentration of this product increases, so caution should be exercised when used in combination. 5. Digoxin, antidiabetic drugs (including oral hypoglycemic drugs): This product can increase the blood concentration of digoxin and enhance the effect of antidiabetic drugs (including oral hypoglycemic drugs). When used in combination, you should pay attention to adjusting the dose. 6. Probenecid: Probenecid can reduce the excretion of this product, increase its blood concentration, and thus increase its toxicity. Therefore, it is advisable to reduce the dose of this product when used together. 7. Methotrexate: This product can reduce the excretion of methotrexate, increase its blood concentration, and even reach toxic levels. Therefore, this product should not be used together with medium or large doses of methotrexate.
