Appearance

This product is a colorless or lavender gel.

Indication

After absorption, the drug can be hydrolyzed into clindamycin to exert antibacterial effects, especially against Propionibacterium acnes. At the same time, it can also reduce fatty acids on the skin surface, which is beneficial for the treatment of acne.

Usage and Dosage

For topical use, wash the affected area with warm water, gently dry it, and apply a suitable amount of gel on the affected area in a thin layer, once in the morning and once in the evening.

Adverse Reactions

Common adverse reactions include: local skin dryness, contact dermatitis, skin irritation, allergic symptoms, abdominal pain, gastrointestinal discomfort, eye stinging, etc.; some may also experience diarrhea, bloody diarrhea, colitis including pseudomembranous colitis, etc.

Precautions

1. Patients who are allergic to clindamycin or lincomycin are contraindicated. 2. Patients with a history of regional enteritis, ulcerative enteritis or antibiotic-related enteritis are contraindicated.

Special Population Medication

Precautions for children: When using this product for children, attention should be paid to the function of important organs. It should not be used for children under 1 month old. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Pregnant women should weigh the pros and cons before deciding whether to use this product. It is generally not suitable for use. If breastfeeding women use this product, they should stop breastfeeding. Precautions for the elderly: Not yet clear.

Drug Interactions

1. This product can enhance the effect of neuromuscular blockers, and the two should not be used together. 2. This product has an antagonistic effect with erythromycin and should not be used together. 3. Combination with free fatty acids can reduce the absorption of this product by 2% to 14%.
