Drug Interactions
1 Calcium agents: Combination with calcium agents may cause elevated blood calcium, so blood calcium should be monitored. 2 Thiazide diuretics: This type of diuretic can promote the kidney's absorption of calcium, and there is a risk of hypercalcemia when used together. 3 Digitalis glycosides: Hypercalcemia in patients taking digitalis drugs can easily induce arrhythmias. If this drug is used in combination, blood calcium should be closely monitored. 4 Barbiturates, anticonvulsants: These drugs can accelerate the metabolism of active vitamin D metabolites in the liver and reduce the efficacy of the drug, so the dose of this drug should be appropriately increased. 5 Gastrointestinal absorption inhibitors: Cholestyramine or aluminum-containing antacids can reduce the absorption of this drug. The two should not be taken at the same time. The drugs should be taken one after the other with an interval of 2 hours. 6 Phosphorus agents: This product can induce hyperphosphatemia when used in combination with large doses of phosphorus agents.
