This product is a non-specific drug for the cell cycle. It is most sensitive to cells at the G1-S boundary or early S phase, and also has an inhibitory effect on the G2 phase. After entering the body, its molecule breaks into two parts from the carbamide bond. One part is the chloroethylamine part, which dissociates chlorine to form ethylene carbon cations, exerts a hydrocarbonization effect, breaks the DNA chain, and RNA and proteins are hydrocarbonized, which is related to the anti-tumor effect; the other part is the carbamoyl part that becomes isocyanate, or is converted into carbamic acid to exert a carbamylation effect, which mainly reacts with proteins, especially the amino group at the end of lysine, which is mainly related to bone marrow toxicity. Carbamylation also destroys some enzyme proteins, making it difficult to repair DNA after damage, which helps the anti-cancer effect. This product has no cross-resistance with other alkylating agents.

This product is highly fat-soluble and can pass through the blood-brain barrier and enter the cerebrospinal fluid. It is often used for primary brain tumors and metastatic tumors. It can be used in combination with other drugs to treat malignant lymphoma, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, and melanoma.

Oral administration: 100-200 mg/m2, taken all at once, once every 6-8 weeks, taken with antiemetics and sleeping pills before bedtime.

Bone marrow suppression is a delayed reaction with cumulative toxicity. The lowest point of leukocytopenia or thrombocytopenia occurs in 4 to 6 weeks, generally lasting 5 to 10 days, and may last for several weeks in some cases. Generally, it can be recovered in 6 to 8 weeks. Gastrointestinal reactions may occur after taking the medicine. Liver and kidney function may be affected by contact with higher concentrations of drugs. Fatigue and mild hair loss. Occasionally, a rash may occur on the whole body, which may inhibit testicular and ovarian function, causing amenorrhea and lack of mirror.
