Indication
Anthelmintic. Used for ascariasis and pinworms in children.
Usage and Dosage
Oral. Dosage for children: 1-3 years old, weight 10-15 kg, 5-7 tablets for ascariasis, 3 tablets for pinworm disease; 4-6 years old, weight 16-21 kg, 7-10 tablets for ascariasis, 4-5 tablets for pinworm disease; 7-9 years old, weight 22-27 kg, 10-12 tablets for ascariasis, 5-7 tablets for pinworm disease; 9-12 years old, weight 28-32 kg, 12-15 tablets for ascariasis, 7-8 tablets for pinworm disease.
Adverse Reactions
1 Occasionally, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, headache, paresthesia, urticaria, etc. may occur, which disappear quickly after stopping the drug. 2 Allergic patients may experience tearing, runny nose, cough, dizziness, drowsiness, asthma, etc. 3 Occasionally, viral hepatitis-like manifestations, pupil constriction, accommodation disorders, paralytic strabismus, etc. may occur.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for patients with liver and kidney dysfunction, nervous system diseases or a history of epilepsy.
