Moderate to severe hypertension. Injection is used for hypertensive crisis and to control blood pressure during pheochromocytoma surgery.

The dosage should be individualized. Oral administration, adults, 100 mg/time, 2 times/day, adjusted every other day according to the efficacy, maintenance dose 200 mg ~ 400 mg/time, 2 ~ 3 times/day, should not exceed 2.4 g/day. Children, 3 mg ~ 4 mg/kg per day, 2 times/day; adjusted every other day according to the efficacy, up to 20 mg/kg per day. Intravenous injection, adults, 20 mg or 1 mg ~ 2 mg/kg slowly injected, repeated after 15 minutes if necessary. Intravenous drip, 2 mg/min, adjust the dose according to the response, the total amount can reach 300 mg.

Gastrointestinal reactions, orthostatic hypotension, palpitations, dizziness, fatigue, drowsiness, nasal congestion, hallucinations, sexual dysfunction, etc. There are also rashes and pain at the injection site. Long-term use can cause rheumatoid arthritis and lupus erythematosus syndrome. Pregnancy category C. Use with caution in pregnant and lactating women. Contraindicated in patients with cardiogenic shock, congestive heart failure, conduction block, cerebral hemorrhage and bronchial asthma. Use with caution in patients with liver dysfunction. This product should be taken after meals. Elderly patients and when taking diuretics in combination should reduce the dosage appropriately. Pheochromocytoma can occasionally cause abnormal hypertension.
