Compound Mifepristone Tablets
Function and Efficacy
This product is a compound preparation composed of mifepristone and anorthrin. Mifepristone is an anti-progestogen drug at the receptor level. It has no progestogen, estrogen, androgen and anti-estrogen activity. It can bind to the progesterone receptor and has an affinity for the endometrial progesterone receptor that is 5 times stronger than progesterone. This product may mainly interfere with the implantation process of the fertilized egg by affecting the normal physiological changes during the implantation period of the endometrium, thereby reducing the implantation rate and avoiding pregnancy. Anorthrin is a progestogen contraceptive that can reduce the amount of cervical mucus secretion and increase the viscosity, which is not conducive to sperm penetration; it affects the normal development of the endometrium and is not conducive to the implantation of the fertilized egg; it affects the normal activity of the fertilized egg in the fallopian tube, causing the fertilized egg to enter the uterine cavity early, resulting in asynchrony with the endometrium and inhibiting implantation.
