Compound Albendazole Tablets
Function and Efficacy
The results of two experiments on artificial infection of rats with Brazilian Japanese roundworms and dogs with artificial infection of hookworms showed that the compound prescription was more effective than any single prescription. The insecticidal effect on isolated head segments of Ascaris suum was also enhanced.
Ingredients
This product is a compound preparation, and its components are: each tablet contains 0.067g of albendazole and 0.25g of pyrantel pamoate.

Appearance
Light yellow tablets.
Indication
The main ingredients are albendazole and pyrantel pamoate. It is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic suitable for infections caused by hookworms, pinworms, roundworms and whipworms.
Usage and Dosage
Oral: 1 Adults and patients over 7 years old: 2 tablets at a time for roundworm, pinworm infection and mild hookworm and whipworm infection; 3 tablets at a time for severe hookworm and whipworm infection. 2 Children: Patients aged 2 to 6 years old, 1.5 tablets at a time. Or follow the doctor's advice.
Adverse Reactions
A small number of patients may experience nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension, abdominal pain, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, fatigue, skin itching, increased salivation, etc., and occasionally elevated aspartate aminotransferase.
Precautions
Patients with impaired liver function are contraindicated. Patients who are allergic to albendazole or pyrimidine pamoate are contraindicated.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Not suitable for children under two years old. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Contraindicated for pregnant and lactating women. Precautions for the elderly: Not clear yet.
Drug Interactions
This product is contraindicated for use with piperazine drugs.
