Compound Benzoic Acid Tincture
Function and Efficacy
The benzoic acid contained in this product is a disinfectant and preservative, which has a killing effect on common bacteria and fungi. Salicylic acid is a keratin dissolving and softening agent, and has antibacterial and antipruritic effects. Iodine is a bactericide, and the three drugs used together have a synergistic effect.
Ingredients
Each milliliter of this product contains the main ingredients: benzoic acid 100 mg; salicylic acid 80 mg; iodine 6 mg.

Appearance
Brown-red liquid with a peculiar smell of iodine and menthol.
Indication
External antifungal drugs can treat superficial fungal infections, especially for tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea manuum and tinea pedis.
Usage and Dosage
For external use, apply to the affected area 2 to 3 times a day. After the psoriasis subsides and the itching disappears, the medication should be continued for three days to avoid recurrence.
Adverse Reactions
Slightly irritating.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for patients with severe inflammatory reactions, tinea corporis, tinea cruris, and iodine allergy.
