Indication
1. This product is a broad-spectrum aminoglycoside antibiotic, which has antibacterial and bactericidal effects on a variety of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. It has a stronger effect on Gram-negative bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Clostridium difficile, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Salmonella, Escherichia coli and Proteus, as well as Staphylococcus aureus; 2. The mechanism of action of this product is to firmly bind to the specific protein on the bacterial riboprotein subunit, interfere with the function of the riboprotein, prevent protein synthesis, and cause errors in the translation of the code on the messenger RNA (mRNA) to synthesize non-functional proteins; 3. It is clinically used for sepsis, respiratory tract infection, biliary tract infection, purulent peritonitis, intracranial infection, urinary tract infection and bacillary dysentery caused by Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Shigella dysenteriae, Klebsiella, Proteus and other sensitive bacteria.
Precautions
1. It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to this product or other aminoglycosides; 2. It should be used with caution in pediatrics, especially for premature infants and newborns; 3. Generally, breastfeeding women should suspend breastfeeding during the medication period, and pregnant women should use it with caution.
