Appearance
This product is yellow or orange-yellow tablets.
Indication
1. Folic acid deficiency caused by various reasons and megaloblastic anemia caused by folic acid deficiency; 2. Preventive administration for pregnant and lactating women; 3. Folic acid deficiency caused by chronic hemolytic anemia.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration: Adults, 5-10 mg at a time, 15-30 mg a day, until blood count returns to normal; Children, 5 mg at a time, 3 times a day (or 5-15 mg a day, divided into 3 times); Prevention: 0.4 mg at a time, once a day.
Adverse Reactions
There are few adverse reactions, and allergic reactions are rare. Long-term use may cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as loss of appetite, nausea, and bloating. When taking large amounts of folic acid, urine may turn yellow.
Storage
Keep away from light and store in sealed container.
