Ingredients
This product is a compound preparation, and its components are as follows: each package contains 0.926g~1.131g of sodium (Na), 0.354g~0.433 of potassium (K), 1.276g~1.560 of total chlorine (Cl), 1.305g~1.595 of sodium citrate (C6H5Na3O7?2H2O), and 9.00g~11.00 of anhydrous glucose (C6H12O6).
Appearance
This product is white crystalline powder.
Indication
Treat and prevent mild dehydration caused by acute and chronic diarrhea.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration: Dissolve the powder in 1000 ml of cold boiled water, stir well, and after it is fully dissolved, take 500 ml orally each time, or take it in divided doses within 4 to 6 hours. Children should take 50 to 160 ml per kilogram of body weight per day, divided doses within 6 hours. The total amount for adults should not exceed 3000 ml per day.
Adverse Reactions
Gastrointestinal reactions, such as nausea and vomiting, occur when the oral concentration is too high or the drinking speed is too fast. This product is fully diluted, and the above side effects are unlikely to occur.
Precautions
Oliguria or anuria; severe dehydration and signs of shock should be treated with intravenous rehydration; severe diarrhea, stool volume exceeds 30ml/kg per hour, at which time the patient is often unable to take enough oral rehydration salts; glucose absorption disorder; those who cannot take oral medication due to severe vomiting, etc.; intestinal obstruction, intestinal paralysis and intestinal perforation.
