Appearance

This product is white tablets.

Indication

1. Primary osteoporosis, postmenopausal osteoporosis, and drug-induced osteoporosis. 2. Heterotopic ossification such as Paget's disease, osteoarthritis deformans, kidney stones, progressive osteomyositis, and dermatosis. 3. Malignant hypercalcemia (including those caused by tumor metastasis). 4. Surgery of hip joints, spine, etc.

Usage and Dosage

Oral administration, 0.2 g each time, twice a day, between meals.

Adverse Reactions

Symptoms include abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, soft stools, vomiting, stomatitis, headache, burning sensation in the throat, itchy skin, and rash.

Precautions

It is contraindicated for patients with severe renal impairment and osteomalacia.

Special Population Medication

Precautions for children: It may affect bone growth. There have been reports of rickets-like symptoms caused by long-term use. It should be used with caution. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Animal experiments have found that high doses can cause fetal bone abnormalities, and the drug can enter breast milk. Therefore, pregnant women and women who may become pregnant should not use it. Precautions for the elderly: Reduce the dosage appropriately.

Drug Interactions

1. Antacids and cathartics often contain calcium or other metal ions such as magnesium and iron, which may affect the absorption of this drug. 2. Combination with aminoglycosides may induce hypocalcemia.
