Amoxicillin Granules
Function and Efficacy
This product is a penicillin antibiotic, which has good antibacterial activity against Streptococcus such as Streptococcus pneumoniae and hemolytic Streptococcus, aerobic Gram-positive cocci such as non-penicillinase-producing Staphylococcus and Enterococcus faecalis, aerobic Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella, Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and Helicobacter pylori. Amoxicillin exerts its bactericidal effect by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell walls, which can quickly dissolve and rupture bacteria into spherical bodies.

Urogenital tract infections caused by Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis or Enterococcus faecalis. 3. Skin and soft tissue infections caused by hemolytic streptococci, staphylococcus or Escherichia coli. 4. Acute bronchitis, pneumonia and other lower respiratory tract infections caused by hemolytic streptococci, pneumococcus, staphylococcus or Haemophilus influenzae. 5. Acute simple gonorrhea. 6. This product can also be used to treat typhoid fever, typhoid carriers and leptospirosis; amoxicillin can also be used in combination with clarithromycin and lansoprazole to eradicate gastric and duodenal Helicobacter pylori and reduce the recurrence rate of peptic ulcers.
Usage and Dosage

The absorption of this product in the gastrointestinal tract is not affected by food, so it can be taken on an empty stomach or after meals, and can be taken with food such as milk. Tear open the small bag, pour the powder into an appropriate amount of boiled water, shake well and take it; add 42ml of boiled water to the bottled 1250mg/bottle, shake well to get 50ml suspension, (each 5ml contains 125mg of amoxicillin); add 84ml of boiled water to the bottled 2500mg/bottle, shake well to get 100ml suspension, (each 5ml contains 125mg of amoxicillin). Adults: For general infected patients, take 500mg once, once every 6 to 8 hours; for severe cases, increase to 1000mg once, once every 6 to 8 hours or follow the doctor's advice.
Adverse Reactions
1 Gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and pseudomembranous colitis. 2 Allergic reactions such as rash, drug fever and asthma. 3 Anemia, thrombocytopenia, eosinophilia, etc. 4 Serum aminotransferase may be slightly elevated. 5 Superinfection caused by Candida or drug-resistant bacteria. 6 Occasionally, central nervous system symptoms such as excitement, anxiety, insomnia, dizziness and abnormal behavior may occur.
Precautions
It is contraindicated in patients with penicillin allergy or penicillin skin test positive.
Special Population Medication
Precautions during pregnancy and lactation: Animal reproduction studies have shown that amoxicillin at 10 times the human dose did not damage the fertility and fetuses of rats and mice. However, there is still a lack of adequate control studies in humans. Given that animal reproduction studies cannot fully predict human reactions, pregnant women should only use this product when it is necessary. Since a small amount of amoxicillin can be secreted in breast milk, breastfeeding mothers may cause allergies in their babies.
Drug Interactions
1. Probenecid competitively reduces the renal tubular secretion of this product. The simultaneous use of the two can cause an increase in the blood concentration of amoxicillin and a prolonged half-life. 2. Chloramphenicol, macrolides, sulfonamides and tetracyclines interfere with the antibacterial effect of amoxicillin in vitro, but the clinical significance is unclear.
