Function and Efficacy

The gentamicin in this product is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that can inhibit Helicobacter pylori and exert a local bactericidal effect in the stomach; procaine can block the nerve endings on the surface of the damaged mucosa, blocking the stimulation of the lesions on the central nervous system and thus quickly relieving pain.

Ingredients

This product is a compound preparation, and its components are 20mg (20000 units) of gentamicin sulfate, 0.1g of procaine hydrochloride, and 0.02mg of vitamin B12 per bag. The excipients used include mannitol, aspartame, edible apple flavor, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose and tartrazine.

Appearance

This product is soluble granules; it tastes sweet and slightly bitter.

Indication

Used to relieve symptoms of acute and chronic gastritis.

Usage and Dosage

Oral administration. Take 1 bag 3 times a day, swallow with warm water before meals or as directed by a doctor. The course of treatment should not exceed 2 weeks.

Adverse Reactions

1. A small number of patients may experience loss of appetite, nausea, etc.; 2. Occasionally, there may be hearing loss, tinnitus, dizziness, renal damage and oliguria; 3. Occasionally, there may be allergic reactions such as rash and urticaria; 4. Occasionally, there may be hypoxia caused by methemoglobinemia.

Precautions

It is contraindicated for patients who are allergic to gentamicin sulfate, other aminoglycoside antibiotics, or procaine.

Special Population Medication

Precautions for children: Due to the possible adverse reactions of gentamicin and procaine (potential ototoxicity and nephrotoxicity), it is recommended that children should not use it. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Because the absorbed part of this product can enter the fetal circulation through the placenta, it is contraindicated for pregnant and lactating women. Precautions for the elderly: This test has not been conducted and there is no reliable reference literature.

Drug Interactions

1. This product may increase the possibility of ototoxicity when used in combination with other ototoxic drugs or when used in succession. 2. It may increase the possibility of nephrotoxicity when used in combination with capreomycin, amphotericin B, cisplatin, ethacrynic acid, furosemide, ceftriaxone or sedumycin or when used in succession. 3. This product can weaken the efficacy of sulfonamide drugs and enhance the effect of digitalis.
