It is a compound antipyretic analgesic. Among them, aminopyrine and phenacetin can inhibit the synthesis and release of prostaglandins in the hypothalamus, restore the normal responsiveness of the receptor neurons in the temperature regulation center, and have an antipyretic effect; at the same time, it also has an analgesic effect by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins. Aminopyrine can also inhibit the synthesis and release of prostaglandins in local inflammatory tissues, stabilize lysosomal enzymes, and affect the phagocytic function of phagocytes to play an anti-inflammatory role. Caffeine is a central nervous system stimulant that can excite the cerebral cortex, increase sensitivity to the outside world, and constrict cerebral blood vessels, thereby enhancing the effect of the first two drugs in relieving headaches. Phenobarbital has sedative, hypnotic, and anticonvulsant effects, which can enhance the analgesic effect of aminopyrine and phenacetin, and prevent convulsions caused by fever.

Ingredients

Appearance

This product is white tablets.

Indication

This product is used for mild to moderate pain caused by colds, such as fever, joint pain, neuralgia, headache, migraine, dysmenorrhea, etc. It is especially suitable for people who are allergic to aspirin or are not suitable for aspirin (such as patients with chickenpox, hemophilia, bleeding diseases, anticoagulant therapy, and patients with peptic ulcer, gastritis, etc.).

Usage and Dosage

Oral administration: 0.3g-0.6g/time, 4 times/day for adults, maximum dose 2g/day, antipyretic treatment course should not exceed 3 days, analgesia should not exceed 10 days. Children: 10mg-15mg/kg per time, once every 4h-6h; children under 12 years old should not take more than 5 times/day, and the course of treatment should not exceed 5 days.

Adverse Reactions

Both aminopyrine and phenacetin contained in this compound have obvious adverse reactions. Taking aminopyrine may cause vomiting, rash, fever, heavy sweating and stomatitis, etc. A few cases may cause neutropenia, aplastic anemia, exudative erythema, exfoliative dermatitis, glans erosion, etc. Long-term use of phenacetin can cause renal papillary necrosis, interstitial nephritis and acute renal failure, and may even induce renal pelvic cancer and bladder cancer, and may also cause drug dependence. Phenacetin also easily causes hemoglobin to form methemoglobin, which reduces the oxygen-carrying capacity of the blood and leads to cyanosis. It can also cause hemolysis, liver damage, and has a certain toxicity to the retina.

Precautions

It is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to aminopyrine, phenacetin, caffeine or phenobarbital drugs.

Precautions for children: Not yet determined. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Not recommended. Precautions for the elderly: More likely to cause renal damage, so use with caution.

Drug Interactions

1. Long-term drinking or use of other liver enzyme inducers, especially barbiturates or other antispasmodics, are more likely to develop liver toxicity when taking this product for a long time or in excess. 2. Anticoagulants: When this product is used in large quantities or for a long time, it can reduce the synthesis of coagulation factors in the liver and enhance the effect of anticoagulants. Therefore, the dosage of anticoagulants should be adjusted according to the prothrombin time. 3. When used in combination with aspirin, other salicylate preparations or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for a long time (such as cumulative dosage of 1000g per year for more than 3 years), the risk of renal toxicity (including renal papillary necrosis, renal and bladder cancer, etc.) can be significantly increased. 4. When used in combination with the antiviral drug zidovudine, the two drugs can reduce each other's binding with glucuronic acid and reduce the clearance rate, thereby increasing toxicity. Therefore, simultaneous use should be avoided.
