Compound Sodium Acetate Injection

Compound sodium acetate is a drug that supplements body fluids and regulates the balance of water and electrolytes in the body. This product contains Na, Cl- and AC- ions for injection and a small amount of K and Ca2 ions. Sodium and chlorine are important electrolytes in the body, which have the functions of regulating the balance of water and electrolytes and maintaining the stability of body fluid volume and osmotic pressure. This product can also supplement a small amount of potassium ions and calcium ions.

This product is a compound preparation, and its components are: 12.24g sodium acetate, 11.7g sodium chloride, 0.60g potassium chloride, and 0.666g calcium chloride per 1000ml.

This product is a colorless, clear liquid with a salty taste.

Used to replenish body fluids, regulate electrolyte balance and correct acidosis.

Intravenous drip. The usual dosage is 500-1000ml at a time.

Excessive or rapid infusion or oral administration can cause water and sodium retention, leading to edema, increased blood pressure, increased heart rate, chest tightness, difficulty breathing, and even acute left heart failure.
