Vitamin B1 combines with adenosine triphosphate to form vitamin B1 pyrophosphate (thiamine diphosphate, cocarboxylase), which is a coenzyme necessary for carbohydrate metabolism. Vitamin B1 can inhibit the activity of cholinesterase. When it is deficient, cholinesterase activity is enhanced, acetylcholine hydrolysis is accelerated, causing nerve impulse conduction disorders and affecting gastrointestinal and myocardial function.

Used to prevent and treat vitamin B1 deficiency, such as athlete's foot, neuritis, indigestion, etc.

Oral administration, 2 tablets at a time, 3 times a day.

The recommended dose of vitamin B1 is almost non-toxic, but excessive use may cause headaches, fatigue, irritability, loss of appetite, diarrhea, and edema.
