Function and Efficacy
Promethazine hydrochloride is an antihistamine that can counteract capillary dilation caused by allergic reactions, reduce capillary permeability, have a mild bronchial smooth muscle spasmolytic effect, and also have a significant central nervous system sedative effect and a certain antitussive effect; potassium guaiacol sulfonate is a strong expectorant that increases the secretion of respiratory glands, dilutes sputum, and makes it easier to cough up. Ammonium chloride is a salt expectorant that can reflexively increase the secretion of respiratory mucosal glands, making sputum easier to cough up and facilitating the removal of sticky sputum.
Ingredients
This product is a compound preparation. Each 10 ml contains 10 mg of promethazine hydrochloride, 250 mg of potassium guaiacol sulfonate, and 100 mg of ammonium chloride.

Appearance
This product is a light brown clear liquid with a fragrant odor and sweet taste. If left for a long time, a precipitate that is easily dispersed by shaking may appear.
Indication
Used for cough and sputum caused by cold and allergic bronchitis.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration: Adults, 5-10 ml at a time, 3-4 times a day.
Adverse Reactions
Drowsiness, dry mouth, and occasional gastrointestinal irritation symptoms. A small number of patients may experience excitement, insomnia, palpitations, blurred vision, difficulty urinating, etc. after taking the medicine.
Precautions
