Function and Efficacy
The basic pharmacological action of this product is to directly relax smooth muscle, especially vascular smooth muscle; the dilation effect on post-capillary veins is more persistent than that on arteries. It has no obvious direct effect on the myocardium. Due to the dilation of capacitance vessels, the venous return to the heart is reduced, reducing the preload of the heart. At the same time, the peripheral resistance vessels expand, blood pressure drops, the left ventricular ejection resistance is reduced, and the afterload of the heart is reduced. The reduction of the preload and afterload of the heart reduces the oxygen consumption of the myocardium.

Appearance
This product is a colorless clear liquid.
Indication
It is suitable for left ventricular failure secondary to acute myocardial infarction, left ventricular failure caused by various causes, and severe or unstable angina pectoris.
Usage and Dosage
The drug dosage can be adjusted according to the patient's response. The effective dosage is generally 2 to 7 mg per hour. The starting dose of intravenous drip is 60 μg/min, and the general dose is 60 to 120 μg/min, once a day, and a course of treatment is 10 days.
Adverse Reactions
Like other nitrate drugs, during use, especially in the early stages of administration, symptoms such as headache and nausea may occur due to vasodilation.
Precautions
It is contraindicated in patients with anemia, head trauma, cerebral hemorrhage, severe hypotension or hypovolemia, and allergy to nitrates.
Drug Interactions
This product may enhance the antihypertensive effect of other antihypertensive drugs; this product may enhance certain effects of alcohol. Taking nitrous oxide donors at the same time, such as the active nitric oxide in this product and sildenafil (VIAGRA) can significantly enhance the antihypertensive effect of this product.
Storage
Store in a sealed, cool place (freeze-proof). The validity period is tentatively set at two years.
